I love when magazines offer a freebie and it's often an excellent way to try a new product at a discounted price. I've been able to try quite a few Mirenesse products this way and they retail for a much higher price than the magazines themselves. Last week's issue of Women's Day came with one of 10 shades of their Velvet Lip Lift Moisture Shine Lip Gloss which normally sells for $39.95 (although there are always good specials on the Mirenesse website). I couldn't pass up the chance to pick up a few:
Unfortunately these don't have any shade name or number on them so I can't tell you which ones I ended up getting but their arn lovely and pigmented! the brighter pink and red are quite opaque and the nude coloured gloss has more reflective shimmer in it. I drew the line at three but I could've easily kept going! Here they are swatched as well:
