February empties!

Sorry it's taken me a few days to get around to posting this but here are the products I used up during February, been flat out the last few days! Here's what was in my bin this month:

Colgate Plax in Freshmint
This featured in my empties post for January too and has been my favourite mouthwash for years. Another one binned for Feb!

Garnier Clean Detox Refreshing Cleansing Wipes
I often use a makeup wipe to remove my makeup at night before I cleanse and these have been one of my favourites. They were on special at Coles a few months ago (I think at 50% off) so I have about 5 packets I picked up that I am using up slowly. I don't think there is a huge difference between different brands of makeup wipe but I really like the fresh scent of Garnier products so this is as good as any!

Garnier Mineral 48 Hour Invisible Deodorant
Another Garnier product that I love the scent of. It seemed to last most of the day as a deodourant and I didn't notice any marks on my clothing the way some more powdery products can make. Definately a repurchase item for me.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
When I first bought this is was to make me qualify for a Clinique GWP as I normally wouldn't have spent this amount on a makeup remover. However I have been really impressed with it and have bought it quite a few times now. It contains two layers so needs shaking before each use but I find it removed heavy eye makeup easily and without irritating my eyes and this bottle lasts ages.

Coles Make-up Remover Pads
Another regular item for me that I have featured in empty posts before. Can't go past these for great value and quality. They don't leave little bits of cotton wool everywhere the way some cheap brands of these do.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW25
This has been my favourite foundation I have ever used and is a daily staple for me now. While it is a little pricey I haven't found a foundation that has better staying power than this for using during the work week and when I head out at night. That said I only have one more bottle of this which I am using now so will be interesting if I run out of that before the end of my Project Pan! I'm a bit scared but I do have plenty of other foundations that need using up before I restock this. Will definately be the one product it will take all my willpower not to repurchase!

Systane Eye Drops
Ever since having Laser Eye Surgery a few years ago I have had really dry eyes so this is a must have for me. I had dry eyes to begin with anyway so I'm pretty happy that the only downside from the surgery was slightly drier eyes than before it. I use these several times a day and will also pop them in my purse if I'm heading out at night. They sort of count as a beauty essential for me as using them means I don't end up with irritated, red eyes and also keeping my eyes moisturised means I don't blink half as much in photos! :-)

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Energizing Orange
I cannot express how much I love these lip balms! They really do make my lips so smooth and I have one in every draw and bag I own. The only reason I haven't featured these in an empties post before is because I usually lose them before they have a chance to be used up! I have tried all of the scents (althought they just brought out another two which will have to wait until the end of my Project Pan to try) and I loved them all. They smell delicious and I can notice an improvement in the condition of my lips after just a few uses.

Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser
This was a sample size from one of my beauty boxes and I was a bit dissappointed it wasn't bigger. I used to use this years ago but stopped because it was a bit oily and took a while to soak in. That said, lately my skin has been quite dry so I found this made my legs much smoother and moisturised so I probably will pick this up again. I think the trick seems to be applying it straight from the shower and then waiting about ten minutes for it to soak in before getting dressed.

Maybelline Brow Styling Gel
This comes in a clear (which always ends up murky looking from foundation anyway) and light brown. I normally have gone for the clear but the brown was all that was in stock when I ran out last time and it works just as well. This helps hold my eyebrows in place all day without making them hard or sticky and is invisable once properly combed through.

I Love Mango and Papaya Nourishing Body Butter
I picked up a few of these at David Jones a while back when they were on special and I quite liked this scent. That said, I also got the Coconut scent which was horrible! It had a strong chemical scent that lasted once it was applied and I ended up throwing it out as it also made me itchy. I was trying to see if this was comparable to the Body Shop Body Butter but I think I still much prefer the Sportsgirl Body Butter.

Hope you are having a beautiful day!
