Duo Eyelash Adhesive in Black
USD$4.19 (Australian retail is $15.95)
I have had the clear one of these for a while and though I don't tend to wear false lashes very often I think this black one would be better for a klutz like me as it would hopefully lool like eyeliner once it dries.
Soap and Glory Hand Food (travel size)
USD$5.00 (Australian retail is$5.95)
I love this handcream and even though I have about a million at home I couldn't resist picking up another travel sized one. It wasn't that much cheaper than it is in Australia but I saw it in Sephora and it just jumped straight into my basket! ;-)
Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara in Blackest Black
USD$8.99 (Australian retail is $18.50)
I am such a fan of Maybelline mascaras so I had to pick up this and the Mega Plush one to try out. I know not everyone likes their mascaras but I find they give me the best volume of any mascara I have tried and don't flake or leave me with panda eyes later in the day.
Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Mascara in Blackest Black
USD$5.49 (not available in Australia yet)
Another newbie not yet available here so I had to pick it up to trial. Will let you know my thoughts once I have given it a go!
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms in Quenched, Peach Kiss, Pink Punch, Grape Vine, Peppermint and Cherry Me
USD$3.89 (not available in Australia yet)
These are different to the Baby Lips we have on offer here as they are slightly tinted. I have loved the version available here so hopefully these are just as good and at such a cheap price I had to get one of every variety.
Revlom Lip Balm Stains in Cherish, Charm and Sweetheart
USD$8.99 (Australian retail is $17.95)
These are now out in Australia but are double the price so it was well worth picking them up in the US. I like the way they are moisturising but add a hint of colour and the peppermint smell is the best!
Swatches (top to bottom): Revlon Lip Balm Stain in Cherish, Charm and Sweetheart |
Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy, Strawberry Shortcake, Creamsicle and Lollipop
USD$7.49 (Australian retail is $21.95)
I already had a tube of both Cotton Candy and Strawberry Shortcake but I have been going through them so quickly I had to make sure I picked up a backup. I also decided to add Creamsicle and Lollipop to my collection while I was at it and I am keen to see if I end up prefering the new Lip Balm Stains over these.

Wet n Wild Lipstick in Just Peachy
USD$1.99 (not Available in Australia)
Yet another brand that isn't available in Australia and their products are such bargains. I got myself this pretty neutral pink lipstick as well as an eyeshadow trio to try out.
NYX Mega Lip Gloss in Perfect
USD$5.99 (not available in Australia)
I was actually on the hunt for the NYX Lipgloss in Sweetheart but everywhere I went didn't seem to stock it as part of their NYX range.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Berry Rose
USD$6.99 (this shade not available in Australia)
This is a pretty deep berry shade that for some reason I have never been able to track down in Australia I don't think it's a part of the shades we get here). It's so pretty, more of a deeper winter colour so might keep this for when it starts to get colder again.
Swatches (top to bottom): Wet n Wild Lipstick in Just Peachy, NYX Mega Lipgloss in Perfect and Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Berry Rose |
Wet n Wild Colour Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Eggshell
USD$2.99 (not available in Australia)
These seem a tad powdery at first glance but are quite nicely pigmented for a cheaper eyeshadow.
Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium
USD$8.69 (not available in Australia)
I have tried so many brands of BB creams (Garnier is still my favourite) but I tend to like Maybelline products so it will be worth trying out. I am interested to see how much coverage this gives me and weather is is more of a foundation than some of the others available.
NYC Bronzer in Sunny
USD$2.99 (not available in Australia)
This is another product I have heard so much about on beauty blogs and YouTube but could never get here. I actually tried to buy this the last time I was in Hawaii a few years ago but it was always out of stock so I was glad I finally found it this time around!
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Frosting
USD$7.69 (not available in Australia)
I'm generally not a fan of cream blushes (they tend to smear and drag my makeup I have found in the past), but this felt so lovely and soft to touch I was convinced. Many of the colours in this range are a bit crazy bright but this looked like a nice summer pink shade.
Swatches (top to bottom): Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium, NYC Bronzer in Sunny and Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Frosting |
Swatches: Wet n Wild Colour Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Eggshell |
Have you tried any of these products?
Hope you are having a beautiful day!
I have the Maybelline plush mascara and BB cream coming to me at the moment :) can't wait to see what you think about them as I'm dying to get mine!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it yet as I'm trying to use up my Garnier one first. The colour is also a tad dark but I'm hoping it will blend in OK and they were out of stock of the lighter shades everywhere I looked!
DeleteAwesome haul!
ReplyDeleteI would pick up some of those same items too :D
esp. Wet n Wild and NYX products.
I wish we had those tinted maybelline baby lips here too!
Maybe they will bring them out here eventually? Fingers crossed!
DeleteGreat haul! I HATE AUS PRICES!
ReplyDeleteGrr, don't even get me started - makes me so annoyed! But just means I start a big list and get people to pick things up for me when they go OS!
DeletePink frosting looks so pretty!
ReplyDeletex
I thought you would like it Michelle - we are both big pink fans from the looks of your blog! :-)
