Things I'm Loving!

So I realise I've left it a bit late to be doing my May Favourities post but I thought I would still share with you some things I was loving during the last month. I have only just finished up my Project 30 Pan (you can read about it here) so I didn't really have any new products I picked up, this gave me a chance to rediscover a few I had had for a while and fall back in love with them all over again.

Here's what I was reaching for:

Clearasil Daily Gel Wash
I have talked about this before but I have been relying on this product to keep my skin lovely and clear. It has very quickly replaced my Proactiv and Clinique cleansers and I have been eagerly recommending it to anyone who will listen!

Garnier BB Cream in Medium
I have been through wuite a few bottles of this now and I use it as both my daily moisturiser as well as for a bit of coverage before I head to the gym or on days off where I don't want a full face of makeup. With the Clearasil wash keeping my skin clear, this provides just the right amount of coverage to even out my skintone and reduce the appearance of any discolouration and pigmentation. The other thing I have found is this works as a good baser for my foundation when I do want to wear it, I can skip my primer if I have applied this and my makeup glides on smoothly and lasts all day.

DKNY Be Delicious Fragrance
I was given this as a Christmas present and it is one I keep returning to over the years but I was holding out to start using it until I had finished off a few others. This is the 30ml size which is perfect for throwing in my handbag and carrying on the go. I love the fresh scent and get so many compliments whenever I am wearing it!

Revlon Lip Butters in Strawberry Shortcake and Peach Parfait
I have quite a few of these lip butters but I have found these two colours to be my favourites for day to day wear. They are both very wearable (Strawberry Shortcake is a soft pink and Peach Parfait a more neutral peachy brown). I keep both close by at all times and just pick whichever one I feel matched my mood at the time. I'm so excited for my free lip butter to arrive, I'm really hoping it is one of these shades as I'm getting through them pretty quickly!

MAC Lipstick in Angel
I love this colour so much! I was originally drawn to check it out as it was regularly reported to be a favourite of the Kardashians and I was a bit skeptical it wouldn't be suited to me (a blonde with blue eyes). I was pleased to discover it works just as well on my complexion and it is such an easy, everyday colour that it is now a staple. Either alone or with a coat of pink gloss, it adds a bit of colour without being too bold or distracting.

MAC Eyeshadow in Spectacle of Yourself
I picked this up some tima ago when MAC released their Mega Metals shadow as part of their Peacocky collection and it is the perfect crease shade. I had been on the lookout for a deeper shade of brown but with slight red/rust tones as it was supposed to really bring out blue eyes and this was perfect! I use just a light amount of this in my crease during the day but it can also be built up with a pencil brush into a deeper shade for a smokey brown night look.

Swatches (L-R): MAC Eyeshadow in Spectcle of Yourself, MAC Lipstick in Angel, Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake and Peach Parfait

What have you been loving lately?

Hope you are having a beautiful day!
