Nail of the Day - Rimmel Lemon Drop

This bright lemony shade was included in my goodie bag from the Priceline Sisterhood Clubhouse Tour and I had to try it out straight away! I really haven't tried yellow nail polish before so I thought it would be something I either loved or hated.


I can't say I'm a big fan of this one - for some reason it was really thin and even with three coats (as in the photo above) it still looked quite streakly up close. I have other Rimmel polishes in this range so I'm not sure if it was this colour, or just my bottle, that seemed to be a really thin consistency. The colour was quite a nice mid toned yellow but I think against my pasty winter skin it didn't really do much for me. I will give this a go when I have more of a tan and see if it appears differently but I can't see this getting a whole lot of use.

    I tried this one just yesterday and found it kinda streaky, I did 3 layers to try and even it out.
    I'm not normally a yellow person and I recently purchased this and another Rimmel one at Priceline, i'm trying to branch out. Lol
    It wasn't compltely me either so I added some black stripes to it.
    From what I've heard yellow's can be streaky/bald.

      Ohhh, maybe I should try adding another colour! Great idea Bec, might mean I can get some more use out of it that way...
