Heading back to MAC again!

I seem to go through my foundation and powder like nothing else so before I knew it, it was time for me to take my 6 empties and head into my local MAC for a free lippy - win! Is it strange that I get a little excited each time I finish up a MAC product as I know I'm getting closer to my freebie? If you missed my last post on this offer, basically Back to MAC is an incentive they offere where you take 6 empty product containers (the primary product containers, not the empty boxes) into a MAC counter and swap them over for your choice of a MAC lipstick for FREE - AMAZING!

The colour I picked up was actually quite similar to the one I chose last time, but my sister had this shade and I loved it so decided I needed it too. I'd like to finally welcome Creme Cup to my collection!

The colour I chose last time was Angel (as I had heard it was a favourite of the Kardashians) and Cream Cup is quite a similar shade of pale natural pink. What I love about both of these shades as they are very wearable for day or night and seem to flatter almost all skin tones.

Top to bottom: Creme Cup (Cremesheen) and Angel (Frost)
In the tube these look almost identical but they are two different finishes so Creme Cup appears much sheerer when applied. It also doesn't seem to have as much of a mauve tint as Angel does. I love both of these but I think already Creme Cup has become my favourite.

Have you got a favourite MAC lipstick?

Hope you are having a beautiful day!

  1. My new favourite MAC lipstick is Love Goddess, but I wear See Sheer and Hibiscus a lot as well. I love their lipsticks and especially the back 2 MAC programme! I have 12 empties sitting at home but don't need any new lippies right now :)

  3. Is it sad that when I do a haul, I tend to buy MAC because of the Back to MAC program? I love the program :) I think I'll pick up Creme Cup next time.

    1. Oh good, I thought I was the only one Jen! Haha... I'm heading to Hawaii next week and I started thinking there are so many products I want to pick up, but then maybe I should stick to MAC so I keep collecting empties?

    2. I'm not heading to hawaii but every time I do an order from the US with a parcel forwarder, I debate whether or not I should stick with MAC. If something non-mac is on sale, I'll buy it but otherwise, I head straight to the MAC website :) It's a great marketing campaign for them!
