February Empties

Just like that the shortest month of the year is over! What makes me sad is it means we're saying goodbye to Summer officially (still have my fingers crossed for some more hot days in March though)!

Somehow I managed to finish up a huge amount of products in the last 28 days:

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo
I made it a bit of a mission to use up as many sample sachets as I could this month as they seem to breed in my bathroom drawers!

Kerastase Nectar Thermique
I thought I had used all of these from my sample boxes but was very excited when I found one floating around in the bottom of my drawer - I love this nourishing cream!

Sportsgirl Butter Dream Honey Body Butter
This was lovely and thick and got a lot of use after days at the beach this summer. It absorbed well into my dehydrated skin and smelt like such a treat.

It's a 10 Miracle Hair Mask
So sad to see this one go! I bought this when I was in Hawaii in October and would've filled up my suitcase with these were it not for how heavy they are. Between this and the It's a 10 Leave In Treatment my hair was in much better condition despite a few months of sun and swimming.

Nars Blush in Orgasm
My go-to blush for the last few years. It takes me absolutely ages to use one of these up and I will definately repurchase this once I have finished up the other backup of it I still have in my handbag.

Girlz Only Dry Shampoo in Party Nights
I saw this at the checkout at Target recently and for only $2 (and that's if it's not on sale) I thought I had to try it out. The scent was pleasant enough and it seemed to do quite a good job however after only about 3 uses the can seemed to break and wouldn't spray anymore so sadly this had to go! I will try this one more time before I completely write it off though as maybe I just got a dud one...

Clear Total Nourishing Care Shampoo and Conditioner
I was lucky enough to be sent both the Clear shampoo and conditioner when they were first released as part of a Primped trial. I really loved the quality of these for a supermarket brand and will grab them again in the future. They left my hair feeling much softer and hydrated.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin Formula
Another staple product that seems to take me about a year to get through a bottle of! This helps to keep my skin from getting greasy throughout the day and minimises breakouts.

Bastiste Blush Dry Shampoo
My post gym saviour!

Systane Eye Drops
I have featured these before many times but couldn't go without these a few times a day to keep my eyes from getting dry and red.

Face of Australia Purifying Cleansing Wipes
I got these a while ago in one of my sample boxes and I like to use a wipe to remove makeup at night prior to cleansing. I find my face just seems to get cleaner when my cleanser is not having to work extra hard to remove makeup first. These were pretty good, they left my skin feeling fresh and didn't irritate at all.

Coles Make-up Remover Pads
Yep, more of these - they should sell these in bulk packs I go through them so quickly!

Al'chemy Macadaemia and Wheat Shampoo and Conditioner
This was just OK for me. I found the shampoo didn't lather very much and the amount included in the sachets wasn't enough to go all the way through my hair so I had to add other products.

Royal Moroccan Hair Serum Treatment
This seemed very similar to other oil treatment products I have tried. It was quite thick so I had to be very careful not to use to much and make my hair look oily.

The Body Shop Dreams Unlimited Shower Gel
This smells so amazing! The travel sized bottle was great for my gym bag.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3
My go-to toner, this tingles slightly on my skin and does a great job of keeping oil at bay throughout the day.

Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Cream (old formulation)
Using this as a thicker night cream has made such a difference to the texture and evenness of my skin. I have had some quite bad pigmentation from acne and this has helped to fade it out better than anything else I have used in the past as well as help to prevent breakouts and make my skin smoother.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner
I still have about 6 of these stockpiled as they were clearing them out at my local Coles a few months back and I was terrified it was being discontinued! Love how thick it is and that such a small amound goes such a long way.

Colgate Plax Mouthwash in Freshmint
This is my favourite mouthwash and has featured on this blog many times before!

MOR Body Butter in Snow Gardenia
I have a few of these small tubes so am trying to carry them in my bag and use some of them up. They are such a great consistency for using as a hand cream and absorb very easily.

Apologies for this post being a bit later than usuall.

Did you find any new favourites in February?

Hope you are having a beautiful day!

  1. Check out Big W for your cotton pads. I use them all the time and I find Big W often has 2 x packs for around $3.
